Not Lakes, but floods for Cumbria
Flood water covers many of the fields around Derwentwater after the River Derwent burst its banks in Borrowdale, Cumbria, over the weekend.
Heavy rain caused flooding across North West England. On Saturday, 110mm of rain was recorded in the village of Shap, along with wind gusts of 69mph. Temporary flood defences were put up in Appleby on the River Eden.
Wales was also badly affected, with between 15 and 25mm of rain falling in some areas.
