Tube strike: Time-lapse footage from Oxford Circus shows how much busier the station gets just before the strike
One of the busiest London underground stations closes due to overcrowding as commuters rush home before the Tube strike began
What a difference a day can make. Yesterday afternoon saw a mad rush of commuters attempting to get home before the tube strike began at 18:30.

The strike is expected to end late Thursday evening, with services back to normal by Friday morning.
