Video: World Gravy Wrestling Championships in Lancashire
Fans of wrestling and gravy gathered on Monday for the annual World Gravy Wrestling Championships in Lancashire.
The competition is now in its seventh year and sees people grapple with each other in gravy at a local pub.
Contenders have to wrestle in the gravy for two minutes while wearing fancy dress costumes. Around12,000 litres of traditional Lancashire gravy ends up getting used in the competition.
Gravy referee Ken Claxon says that contestants need to have a sense of humour and be 'willing to throw themselves around'.
