The multi-billion pound London airport in the Thames estuary, London Britannia Airport, have been revealed.

Known also as the 'Boris Island' the proposed six-runway airport would cost £47.3billion to build and could take up to seven years.

The island-based design plans to connect the UK and Europe to the rest of the world offering a 24 hour service.

Testrad said Heathrow may have to close if such an airport was opened, but they would be offering new opportunities for housing and employment.
