Six weeks of election campaigning may not have done much to shift the polls, with a hung Parliament always looking likely, but at least the British electorate have been treated to some memorable moments.

While General Election 2015 has not had any particularly huge gaffes on a scale akin to Gordon Brown calling Gillian Duffy a "bigoted woman", there has been the occasional slip of the tongue: a "Hell Yes" here and a "West Ham" there.

On the eve of what many are calling the closest election in recent history, it may be too difficult to choose between a plethora of parties, each with a chance of making gains. However, it may be easier to decide who you want to lead the country by simply looking at which party has experienced the least gaffes of the past six weeks - and therefore might be less of a disaster in charge.
