Newsreader Brian Williams doing Rapper's Delight is a feat of editing
Notoriously lengthy rap track recreated out of news soundbites
In one of the most painstaking YouTube mash-up videos you are likely to see, NBC news anchor Brian Williams has had his back catalogue manipulated to create a perfect rendition of Sugarhill Gang's Rapper's Delight.
Every last syllable was singled out by the poor uncredited editor for the video, which even sees cameos from interviewees on the second verse.
"Top class. Probably about 2 months of editing just for this clip," one viewer wrote on YouTube, with another replying: "I was going to say 2 months just to FIND all the clips."
The segment aired during Jimmy Fallon's new Tonight Show, which also saw him give R Kelly's Ignition a ragtime remix and trace the history of hip hop dancing with Will Smith.
