Reuters has released a set of images from around the world which recap a host of significant events from 2015.

The slideshow, made up of 95 pictures, is dominated by images of the refugee crisis and the conflict zones of Iraq and Syria. These two events look to continue well into 2016.

There are moving pictures from the Nepal earthquake which took place on 25 April. Measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale and killing over 9,000 people, it was the worst natural disaster to hit region since the 1934 Nepal-Bihar earthquake.
