Carly Lovett has been named identified as the first British victim of the Tunisia hotel attack

The first British victim of the deadly Tunisia terror attack has been identified locally as Carly Lovett, a 24-year-old photographer and beauty blogger from Lincolnshire.

Ms Lovett, a graduate of the University of Lincolnshire, travelled to Tunisia on June 24 with her fiancé Liam Moore, two days before the massacre that claimed at least 38 lives. Mr Moore is due to return to the country today, according to ITV.

The Lincoln School of Film and Media confirmed Ms Lovett had studied at the University and graduated in 2014.

Devastated friends took to Twitter after she was identified as a victim to pay tribute to the 24-year-old.

Her friend Dave Overton told the Lincolnshire Echo she was a “friendly but also a tough character with a sensible and practical outlook on life".

Relatives and friends of British people in Tunisia are appealing for information online as the wait for victims to be be officially named continues. Many have took to social media to plead for help in locating their loved ones.

The Tunisian Ministry of Health confirmed eight Britons, one Belgian and a German were among at least 38 tourists fatally wounded in the attack.

David Cameron has warned the public to be prepared for the fact that "many of those killed" in the "savage" Tunisian shooting were Britons.
