Beth Chapman, the wife of Duane “Dog” Chapman from reality TV show Dog the Bounty Hunter, has died at the age of 51 after being placed in a medically induced coma.
Duane tweeted: “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven.
“We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”
Ms Chapman had been admitted to an intensive care unit at Queen’s Medical Center in Hawaii after a long struggle with throat cancer.
She was first diagnosed in September 2017. Although doctors said she was clear later that year, the disease returned and spread to her lungs.

Ms Chapman was admitted to hospital in Honolulu last Friday after struggling to breathe before fainting.
She was placed in a coma so she could be treated without pain.
On Sunday, Mr Chapman asked well-wishers to pray for his wife, and posted an image of her hand as she lay in a hospital bed on Tuesday.
Dog the Bounty Hunter aired from 2004 until 2012, when it was cancelled.
The Chapmans later starred in other similar reality TV shows, including Dog & Beth: On The Hunt.
