Chance The Rapper hosted Bonnaroo's Throwback SuperJam Dance Party on Saturday night — and he didn't disappoint.

The Chicago rapper energised one of the festival's largest crowds by joining Kandace Springs and Pretty Lights to cover DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince's "Summertime." The supergroup followed up with another essential summertime joint, the Notorious BIG's "Juicy."

Organisers for the festival, now in its 13th year, gather star performers for an "impromptu" jam session.

This year Bonnaroo assembled a diverse cast with retro vibes including: DMC of Run-DMC, Metallica’s Rob Trujillo, Bleacher's Jack Antonoff, Reggie Watts, Eric Krasno, Jamie Lidell, John Medeski, Karl Denson, Oteil Burbridge, Snarky Puppy's Robert Searight, Brian Coogan & Brownout Horns, Cherub, Rhiannon Giddens and many others.
