A video taken during a police stop in Colorado shows officers refusing to inform two black men why they were pulled over before officers took one of the men to the ground.

Ryan Brown and his brother, Benjamin, were driving through Colorado Springs earlier this year when they were pulled over by Colorado Springs police. Ryan started recording after they were stopped and can be heard in the video repeatedly asking the officers why they were stopped.

After removing his brother, Benjamin, from the car, the officers asked Mr Brown to get out of the car, before pulling him out and taking him to the ground. Both men were handcuffed before being released without being charged.

The American Civil Liberties Union told the local ABC affiliate that the stop was probably a case of racial profiling. Policing and race relations are the hottest topics in the US at the moment, as incidents like this have become common.
