Gospel singer TJ Bristol was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt but he was able to charm his way out of a getting a ticket.

A man stopped by police for not wearing a seatbelt was able to charm his way out of receiving a ticket.

TJ Bristol, a gospel singer in his local church and chaplain of Orange County Jail, was stopped by three police officers in California.

TJ recorded the exchange using a selfie stick.

“My name is TJ Bristol and I just got pulled over by these beautiful police officers… and I promise you I’m gonna wear my seatbelt from now on.”

The assurance not enough for the officers, TJ proceeded to serenade them with Joe Cocker’s classic You Are So Beautiful.

The performance received a warm applause and a final reminder to “buckle up and stay safe”.
