Four people have been killed in a landslide which swept several vehicles off a mountain highway in Nepal. Nine other people are said to be missing.
Government administrator Purushottam Ghimire said the landslide last night swept away five vehicles travelling on the Mechi highway near Kilbung village in eastern Nepal.
He said eight people had been rescued, four bodies have been pulled out and people remained missing.
Details were still sketchy today but rescue teams have reached the area.
