Pakistan: Swedish church worker shot in the neck

An elderly Swedish woman who has lived and worked for decades in Lahore was shot and seriously wounded by a gunman who escaped on a motorbike.

Bargetta Emmi, who is in her 70s, was getting out of her car at her home in the Model Town district on Monday when she was shot in the neck. Ms Emmi, who reportedly works for a church, was in a critical condition.
