Road accidents in fog claim 21 lives
At least 21 people, including 14 schoolchildren, have died in two traffic accidents in China.
The 14 pupils died when the vehicle taking them to school plunged into a creek in the central province of Hunan. A Hengyang city government spokesman said there was thick fog at the time.
In neighbouring Guizhou province, seven people died and 15 were injured after a truck crashed into a petrol station, also during thick fog, causing a pile-up involving more than 100 cars.
