A Briton, his Filipino partner and their three-year-old daughter are feared to have been killed when Typhoon Haiyan tore through the city of Tacloban.

Colin Bembridge, 61, of Grimsby, is believed to have been staying with Maybelle Go, 35, and their daughter, Victoria, in a beach hut.

Mr Bembridge’s daughter from a previous relationship, Joanne, posted a plea on Facebook for anyone with information on their whereabouts to get in touch with her. “My Dad, Maybelle and Victoria are still missing - please speak to everyone you know to help find them,” she wrote. “They were last seen in a house on BayBay, San Jose, Tacloban, Phillipines - we think near to the Mayors building.”
