The incident, which was captured on video, took place at a Toowoomba Airport regional airport in Australia earlier this week.

According to local media reports, the pilots of the aircraft alerted air traffic control that their front nose wheel had not deployed correctly.

They then carried out a fly-past which allowed observers on the ground to confirm the undercarriage was faulty.

Dramatic footage of the landing shows the aircraft's nose wheel dangling loosely as the plane comes into land.

The Beechcraft Baron 58 then skids along the runway at around 200 mph. The pilot, Mark Crampton was uninjured.
