Boat ride closed at Disneyland Paris after five-year-old boy suffered serious injuries

A popular boat ride at Disneyland Paris is closed and under police examination after a five-year-old boy suffered serious injuries.

The theme park said that the boy’s condition is improving but he remains in hospital. The boy fell out of a boat on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride on Wednesday, and the circumstances of the accident are under investigation.

Disneyland Paris said the ride had undergone maintenance checks on the day of the accident.
