Grenade blast kills two in Russian courthouse

A man has detonated a grenade in a courthouse in Russia this morning, killing himself and a court officer, and wounding two others, the Interfax news agency has reported.

The as yet unidentified man detonated a grenade in a courthouse located in the Ural Mountains city of Kurgan, 1,730 km (1,075 miles) east of Moscow, the Russian news agency reported.

Police say the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
