The bull escaped while being unloaded into a bullring in the town of Talavera de la Reina
A wheelchair bound nine-year-old boy was rushed to hospital last week after an escaped bull in Spain slammed into his chair knocking him to the ground.
In the incident which was caught on the camera of a shocked bystander, the bull can be seen rampaging through a square in the city of Talavera de la Reina before charging towards the boy’s wheelchair.
The nine-year-old suffered facial injuries and was rushed to hospital following the brutal collision.
Doctors say he is expected to make a full recovery.
A 30-year-old man was gored in the leg and had to undergo surgery, while nine other people had to be taken to hospital after coming into contact with the bull.
The mayor of Talavera de la Reina, Jaime Ramos, told waiting media that none of the injuries caused by the bull were life-threatening.
He said a full investigation would take place to find out how the bull escaped.
According to the city’s authorities, the bull was being transported to a bull ring to take part in a local festival called San Isidro, to celebrate the Patrin Saint of Madrid, when it broke loose.
The bull was eventually stopped and killed after being hit by a police car.
