Is Parisian romance over? It might well be.

Authorities from the capital of love have issued a resounding ‘non!’ to the popular act of attaching ‘love padlocks’ to a bridge with the key thrown in the river – meant to symbolise eternal love.

Advocacy group, No Love Locks, believe it is a positive measure but they face an uphill battle with ‘love locks’ present at over ten other bridges in Paris and monuments such as the Eiffel Tower.
