Tommy Fury, the younger brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson, has called out Jake Paul after the American YouTube star extended his winning record by knocking out Ben Askren inside one round on Saturday night.

Headlining a star-studded bill in Atlanta which featured performances by Justin Briber and Snoop Dog, Paul sent former UFC fighter Askren to the canvas inside one round. Askren got up on the eight count but the referee called off the fight, deeming him unable to continue.

After the fight Paul tweeted.Who should I retire next?”

And Fury appeared to challenge Paul, tweeting: “I’m ready to give the people what they want. @jakepaul.”

The pair have previous on social media.

The war of words began last month when Tyson Fury praised his younger brother and added: “Jake Paul, where you at?”

In response, Paul tweeted: “He calls me out to fight someone – his brother! I didn’t even know he had a brother. You are Fury’s little brother? If you want to do something don’t let your brother do it for you.”

Tommy Fury responded with an offer to fight, posting: “Mr Jake Paul, I don’t need anybody to do my dirty work. I’ll call you out right now myself. You can fight me any time, any place, anywhere. All you’ve got to do is get in touch.”

The younger Fury, 21, is undefeated with a 5-0 record after beating fellow Briton Scott Williams earlier this year.

Paul, the brother of fellowYouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul, haf already won two boxing matches against YouTuber AnEsonGib and basketball player Nate Robinson before beating retired MMA star and wrestler Askren.
