The FA Cup semi-final between Arsenal and Reading at Wembley will clash with Chelsea's crucial Premier League fixture against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 18 April.

The FA announced on Thursday that the semi-final between Reading and Arsenal would kick off at 5.20pm, and be broadcast on BBC 1. Chelsea's game against United begins 10 minutes later on Sky Sports at 5.30pm.

The second semi-final involves Aston Villa against either Liverpool or Blackburn Rovers, and will be played on Sunday 19 April at 3pm. It will be televised on BT Sport 1.

Tim Sherwood's Villa will not know their opponents until 11 days before the fixture, with a replay needed between Liverpool and Blackburn after they drew 0-0 at Anfield. They meet at Ewood Park on Wednesday 8 April.

Holders Arsenal head into the last four as the favourites to win the cup due to their Championship opponents at the semi-final stage.

The FA Cup final takes place at Wembley on Saturday 30 May.
