At the women's T20 World Cup in India, West Indies defeated New Zealand by 48 runs yesterday.

The result means England can qualify for the final if they beat New Zealand tomorrow and West Indies lose to Australia, who have already qualified for Sunday's final, in the final Super Six matches.

The defending champions, England, captained by Charlotte Edwards, will know beforehand what they need to do tomorrow as the West Indies-Australia match will be played as the earlier fixture.
