Abdur Razzaq and Paul Weekes took three wickets apiece as Middlesex Crusaders recorded their first Norwich Union League Second Division win of the season at Arundel.

Middlesex beat Sussex Sharks by eight wickets after the home side were bowled out for 125. South African Sven Koenig made an unbeaten 43 and England one-day hopeful Owais Shah was left unbeaten on 41 as the visitors eased to their target with over six overs to spare.

The win lifts Middlesex above Sussex in the table and caps a fine week for them after they beat Glamorgan by eight wickets in the Frizzell County Championship on Saturday.

Middlesex skittled Sussex out for 125 in just over 41 overs, Razzaq ripping through the home side's middle-order to post figures of 3 for 19. Off-spinner Weekes then took three of the last four wickets to fall as the visitors drove home their advantage.

Middlesex's reply was always likely to be a laid-back affair as they chased such a small target, and their batsmen dutifully knocked off the required runs with the minimum of fuss.
