Revealed: the true identity of the Jurgen Klopp doppelgänger on Bayern Munich's bench during their 2-0 defeat by Arsenal last night.

Talk was rife on social media during the game after cameras panned to a studious, bespectacled member of Pep Guardiola's coaching staff bore more than a hint of a resemblance to the Liverpool's new manager (watch video below).

Turns out the man in question is Andreas Kornmayer, who is a fitness coach for the Bundesliga outfit.

Klopp joined Liverpool earlier this month, having left his position as Borussia Dortmund manager during the summer.

Arsenal won last night's game 2-0 thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil. The teams play again on 4 November at the Allianz Arena.

Wenger: We had to beat Bayern [AMBIENT]

"We had an absolute necessity to win the game and we did it in an intense and disciplined way," Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said after the game. "It was a top-level game between two top-level teams. Bayern had more possession than us but we decided to make it tight in our final third and catch them on the break."
