Neymar scored twice in the opening 45 minutes to add to his first leg goal to fire Barcelona into the Champions League final, despite a tenacious fight back from Bayern Munich.

For many, the tie was over after the Brazilian, and two goals from Lionel Messi, handed the Liga giants a three-goal advantage heading into tonight’s second-leg encounter.

But an early striker from Benatia sparked confidence within the home support, before Neymar once again reminded them of Barca’s lethalness in front of goal.

It was his strike that added the cherry the Camp Nou cake last week and, after combining beautifully with Luis Suarez, the tie was well and truly back in Barcelona’s hands.

But who was the star man at the Allianz Arena? Click through our player ratings gallery below...

Marc-Andre ter Stegen was called into action to deny a Robert Lewandowski header among others, but Barca would take their lead into half-time.

Second half strikes from Lewandowski and Muller would put Pep Guardiola’s side ahead on the night, but Barcelona had done their hard work at home, and will return to Germany next month to compete in the final in Berlin.
