Champions League: Clocking the distance travelled by Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City

A look at the journey's the English teams are making in the group stage

With the four English Champions League teams back in action this week, we've taken a look at the distances each club has to travel away this season.

Manchester City have the overall biggest distance to travel with CSKA Moscow alone clocking 1,572 miles. It will also be the longest journey any English team has to travel in the Champions League group stage.

Arsenal have the least amount of distance to travel, with a total of 2,075 miles. Their shortest trip is to face Belgian team R.S.C Anderlecht, only a mere 197 miles away. This is also the shortest journey any of the English Champions League teams have to make during the group stage.

Liverpool, returning to the competition for the first time since the 2009/10 campaign, rank second with 3,017 miles and Chelsea third with 2,086 miles.
