New video footage has emerged that shows Barcelona striker Luis Suarez definitely did not bite Manchester City centre-back Martin Demichelis.
Grainy footage uploaded to YouTube last night appeared to show the Barcelona striker appearing to move his head towards Demichelis' hand - and speculation was rife that the Uruguayan had bitten the defender.
However, clearer footage from a different angle categorically shows that Suarez definitely did not bite Demichelis' hand.
The Uruguayan striker was phenomenal at the Etihad, scoring two goals as Barcelona dominated City in a 2-1 win.
Suarez, of course, has been involved in three such incidents before, prompting the speculation that he had bitten a fourth opponent.
After the game, Suarez said that the boos that rang out from the Etihad spurred him on.
"Of course, though, to come back to England and against a team you’re always motivated to play against," Suarez told Uefa.com.

"There are certain types of players like me who get more inspired, more motivated when fans boo them, it helps motivate you a bit more."
Demichelis praised the performance of Suarez in the aftermath of the game, while there was no suggestion he would make a complaint about the incident.
"Luis has already proved throughout his career what type of player he is and the quality he has," said Demichelis.
"Football is like that, several days prior to the game, all the emphasis is placed on Messi and Neymar but the one who ends up scoring two goals is Luis Suarez.
"Barcelona have great players and any of them can make a difference."
