Manuel Neuer somehow escaped a red card when he conceded an early penalty against Porto in the Champions League.
Jackson Martinez raced through on goal inside of two minutes and went around the Bayern Munich only to be brought down.
Spanish referee Carlos Velasco immediately pointed to the spot, but surprised the watching world when he failed to brandish a red card - he was booked and Ricardo Quaresma confidently converted the penalty.
Quaresma put Porto two up a few minutes later when he pressured Dante into forcing an error and neatly finished.
But with Thiago Alcantara handing Bayern a lifeline on 28 minutes with a goal of his own, Velasco's decision not to send Neuer off could have serious repercussions in this game, and the second leg, for which Neuer would have been suspended.
