The medics fail miserably to carry the player off the pitch

Carrying an injured player off the pitch was far from a seamless task for the medical staff during this Greek second division match between AEL Larissa and Ergotelis on Saturday (watch video below).

In the 67th minute, when an Ergotelis player went down clutching his side, on ran two medics yielding a stretcher. Then this hilarious sequence ensued.

First one of the medics fell to the floor, causing the other one to soon follow suit and bring the player down too. Then the same medic took an awful long time in helping to lift the player again before finally bringing him off the pitch.

AEL Larissa went on to win the game 2-1, and maintain their perfect start to the season. They have now won all four of their league games this term, and sit five points clear at the top of the second division.
