Pep Guardiola went so wild watching his Bayern Munich team rip Porto apart he ripped his trousers.

The Spanish coach was watching his side annihilate their Portuguese opponents as they raced to a 5-0 lead by half-time in their bid to overturn a 3-1 first-leg deficit in their Champions League quarter-final.

The former Barcelona coach was unable to contain himself on the touchline at the Allianz Arena, gesticulating wildly as Thiago Alcantara, Jerome Boateng, Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski (twice) found the net in a devastating 22 minute spell during the first period. So much so that he ended up ripping a hole in his trousers.

Pictures showed that his slacks were torn at the seam on the upper part of his left leg.

The largest margin of victory in the knock-out stage in the current Champions League format stands at 7–0, achieved by Bayern Munich against Basel in the 2011/12 campaign and then against Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this season.
