Tottenham have drawn Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League round of sixteen.

The first leg will be played at the new White Hart Line (provided it is ready in time) on either February 12, 13, 19 or 20, with the return leg set for the Westfalenstadion on March 5, 6, 12 or 13.

Tottenham qualified for the round of 16 in dramatic fashion as runners-up in Group B, claiming a 1-1 draw against Barcelona at the Nou Camp on matchday six to pip Inter Milan to second spot.

It was a big moment for Spurs, who should now get the opportunity to deliver on their notorious boast that their long-awaited new White Hart Lane stadium would be “the only place to watch Champions League football in London” this season.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are also going well in the Premier League, sitting third after 17 matches, but remain six points adrift of leaders Liverpool and five behind champions Manchester City.

Tottenham qualified for the round of 16 as winners of a group featuring Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund last season, but were edged out 4-3 over two legs by Juventus.
