Kidderminster Harriers are expected to announce Jan Molby as their new manager today after Ian Britton was sacked following a poor run of results.

Molby has agreed to return to the club following the success of his previous spell when he took the Third Division side into the League.

Britton, who was sacked after Kidderminster's goalless draw with Swansea on Saturday, had taken charge at the club 19 months ago after Molby left to become manager of Hull City. But with only one League win in 12 games, which has seen Kidderminster plummet to third from bottom in the Third Division, the board movedto end Britton's reign and invite Molby back to the club.

The former Stockport County manager, Carlton Palmer, had also been linked with the position, but Kidderminster settled on Molby.
