Nigeria 3-0 Mozambique

The Super Eagles sealed their place in the last eight of with a convincing victory. The Lokomotiv Moscow striker Peter Odemwingie scored either side of half-time, with former Newcastle United forward Obafemi Martins completing the rout with a late effort from close range.

Egypt 2-0 Benin

The defending champions Egypt made it three wins out of three so far in the competition with two first-half goals from Ahmed Al-Muhammadi and Emab Moteab to eliminate Benin.

Today

Cameroon v Tunisia, Gabon v Zambia (Group D, 4pm, Eurosport)

Gabon, who head the group, will be hoping to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 1996, and like Cameroon, will have to avoid defeat today to ensure qualification. Tunisia and Zambia could both still qualify with a victory today.

Today's fixtures: Group D: Cameroon v Tunisia (4.0), Gabon v Zambia (4.0).
