Demba Ba shows he’s still got it with a sublime chip for Shanghai Shenhua
Former Newcastle-favourite produced a moment of genius to hand his new club Shanghai Shenhua a 2-0 victory
From London to Newcastle, Demba Ba had plenty of fans during his time in the Premier League. And who can forget the Chelsea striker taking advantage of that slip?
Since his departure from the Premier League in July 2014, the Senegalese striker moved to Besiktas for one season, before joining Chinese Super League team, Shanghai Shenhua, last month for a record transfer fee of around £11 million.
The 30-year-old scored his second goal in three matches, and what a finish. Watch the highlights below.
Deep into stoppage time, Ba showed great strength to shrug off the opposition defender before dinking the ball over the incoming goalkeeper to secure a 2-0 away win over Chongqing Lifan.
