Harry Kane stole the show again this season, taking just over a minute to score his first goal for England in his very first game.

Wayne Rooney opened the scoring after just six minutes and it proved to be a long night for the visitors. That goal was Rooney's 47th for his country, leaving him just a goal behind Gary Lineker and two behind all-time record goalscorer Sir Bobby Charlton.

Rooney looked as if he'd get more but it was Danny Welbeck, impressive throughout, who struck just before half-time to put England pretty much out of sight.

Raheem Sterling then scored his first ever goal for England, applying a simple finish to a Wayne Rooney cross, before Kane came off the bench for his brilliant cameo.l
