Luis Suarez is banned for indiscipline from Premier League matches but the controversial striker is still free to get up to his old tricks at international level.

The 26-year-old scored two goals and was at the centre of two controversial incidents during Uruguay's 2-1 win in a World Cup qualifier against Peru yesterday.

Suarez appeared to make an exaggerated fall for a disputed first-half penalty before again going to ground spectacularly moments later during a confrontation which led to Peru's Victor Yotun being shown a red card.

The Liverpool player is serving a domestic ban for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic and was agitating for a move away from Anfield, with Arsenal chief pursuers, before being forced to train alone prior to the closure of the transfer window.
