Harry Kane speaks on Callum Hudson-Odoi's England call-up

Declan Rice and Callum Hudson-Odoi are in line to make their first starts for England, in Monday evening’s Euro 2020 qualifier away to Montenegro.

Gareth Southgate is being forced to shuffle his squad due to injuries to Eric Dier and Jadon Sancho, with the latter now looking a real doubt, and squad sources expect Rice and Hudson-Odoi to come in.

Both made got their first caps for England in Friday’s 5-0 win over Czech Republic, with the two coming on as substitutes.

Dier limped out of that game after a mere 17 minutes, though, while Sancho has picked up a knock in between.

The latter had been expected to start on what is his 20th birthday on Monday, but now looks a doubt.

Both Rice and Hudson-Odoi represent ready-made replacements for both, and are set to come in.

And Hudson-Odoi, should he start, will have earned his first full international cap before making a Premier League start with Chelsea.

England are top of Group A with three points and neither Bulgaria or Montenegro able to take maximum points from their opener.
