How Arsene Wenger must miss the days he was able to call upon Robin van Persie at Arsenal. Here he is recreating the Dutchman's astonishing diving header against Spain on the Ipanema Beach in Brazil.

The Gunners' manager is currently over in South America working as a pundit for French TV, and on some time off from the thrilling tournament, he decided to take part in a game of beach football with former France internationals Christian Karembeu and Bixente Lizarazu.

It was in the Netherlands' 5-1 thrashing of the world champions when Van Persie scored the arguably the greatest goal of this year's tournament, meeting Daley Blind's 50-yard pass in mid-air to leave goalkeeper Iker Casillas with no chance.

But which was the best diving header? Watch Wenger's effort on the beach below...

Van Persie scored 132 goals in 278 matches for Arsenal between 2004 and 2012 before he was sold to Manchester United for £24m.
