Colombia coach Jose Pekerman says that he hopes Radamel Falcao "rediscovers his confidence" during the international break.
Falcao's Colombia take on Peru this evening, and then Uruguay next Tuesday.
The striker has failed to hit the ground running since joining Chelsea in the summer, scoring one goal in eight appearances in all competitions, and making just two starts.
"Falcao is coming to play 90 minutes after a lot of time at his club [Chelsea] having few opportunities, 15 or 20 minutes, in games that are in development; and that's cost him not having continuity," he said.

However, that all changed in the second half when he failed to stop Mane racing into the area to score and then did not do enough to marshal his back line for Southampton’s second and third goals.

Ramires: 5 Was lucky not to have given away a first-half penalty for his tackle on Mane inside the area although it did look like a spot-kick. Was hauled off at half time after picking up a booking for a foul on the Southampton winger.

As in previous games, the midfielder became more and more of a bystander as the game wore on.

However, he was then fortunate to have not given away a penalty after bringing down Falcao in the box.

"We all know his capabilities, and I see he still has the will to fight, to reverse the situation, with that spirit of wanting to reach his best performance and we have expectations.
"We need that rebellion and that ability to want to fight, and if so we have hope he recovers his best form and we can take it into account.
"We always have the hope that he rediscovers his confidence. He always deserves to be called up."
