Robbie Keane returns to lift Republic of Ireland for Faroes trip
Robbie Keane has travelled with the Republic of Ireland for tomorrow's Group C match in the Faroe Islands after recovering from an Achilles injury.
The 32-year-old LA Galaxy striker sat out Friday's 6-1 home defeat against Germany but will return for the match in Torshavn. Andy Keogh, however, who scored Ireland's consolation goal on Friday, misses out with concussion. "Andy suffered a knock to the head in training on Saturday," an Ireland team spokesman said.
Scotland have called up Cardiff midfielder Don Cowie for tomorrow's visit to Group A leaders Belgium after Celtic duo Scott Brown and James Forrest were ruled out through injury. In the same group, Dave Edwards will replace Aaron Ramsey, who is suspended, for Wales' trip to Croatia.
In Group F, Northern Ireland have lost both Grant McCann and Alex Bruce to injury. Michael O'Neill's side visit a Portugal side for whom Cristiano Ronaldo is set to make his 100th appearance.
