World Cup 2014: Belgium starlet Divock Origi 'dreams' of Premier League move

The 19-year-old currently plies his trade for Lille in France but revealed he would like to make a switch to the Premier League

Belgium starlet Divock Origi has sent a come and get me plea to Premier League clubs after admitting it his dream to play in England.

The youngster, who came off the bench to score a dramatic 88th-minute winner for Belgium against Russia, has also caught the attention of many European clubs with his impressive level of performance.

There are a number of Belgian players in the Premier League, with Origi's team-mates Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku and Marouane Fellaini just a few from a handful of imports from the World Cup dark horses.

And Origi has done little to quell the rumours about his future, claiming it would be a dream for him to join them in playing for an English club.

He said: "As a little boy I always dreamed of playing in the Premier League but I'm still young and now I'm in an important tournament so I'm try to focus on the team."

"Then my entourage will see with [Lille] what I'll do."

Until the end of the World Cup, however, Origi's focus is very much on helping Belgium progress further in the tournament, and after helping them reaching the Round of 16, Origi believes confidence is high.

He added: "It's very special to play games like this and show we have talent in the group. It was also a special match as we showed in the last minute.

"Mentally we are stronger now and more confident."
