The World Cup in Brazil is coming into view and everyone is hoping this summer's carnival can take its place among some of the great tournaments of the past.

That won't be easy though, as this series will testify. In the run-up to the tournament, we're counting down the 100 greatest World Cup moments.

Korea shock Italy in 1966

At the 1966 World Cup, Korea managed to throw away a 3-0 lead, and saw their tournament come to an end.

Yet prior to that, they produced arguably the greatest upset in history.

Playing Italy in the final group game, a single goal from Pak Doo-Ik at Middlesbrough's Ayresome Park was enough to win the match for Korea and send traditional heavyweights Italy crashing out of the World Cup.
