Transfer deadline day summer 2019: The deals done so far

The summer transfer window is hotting up with clubs up and down the Premier League set to spend big.

Manchester United are set to be busy this summer and appear to be closing in on their second signing of the offseason. Crystal Palace's Aaron Wan-Bissaka appears close to a move after a breakthrough was finally reached between the two clubs that will see the England Under-21 international move to Old Trafford for upwards of £42m plus add ons. Sporting's Bruno Fernandes could well be close behind with the Red Devils now the favourites to sign him too.

It won't just be incomings, however, with Paul Pogba anxious to leave with Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain circling. Romelu Lukaku is all set to leave for Italy too while the club are desperate to get Alexis Sanchez's £500,000 per week off the books. Follow all of the latest below:

Meanhile, Arsenal are set to push on with their first signing of the summer with a deal for Celtic's Kieran Tierney close. Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser and Belgian international Yannick Carrasco are also options being considered but money could be tight for Unai Emery and Co.

Champions Manchester City don't have any such problems and look set to strengthen an already stacked squad. Leicester City's Harry Maguire could arrive in a club record deal while Atletico Madrid's Rodri and Juve's Joao Cancelo appear near certainties to join him in what looks to be another busy summer at the Etihad.

Manchester United and Crystal Palace are close to an agreement over a fee for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Old Trafford club had initially been hoping to prise the 22-year-old from Selhurst Park for £25m, but Palace have been steadfast in their stance.

However, the Daily Mail report that after lengthy discussions a fee of around £42.5m plus add ons has been agreed to finally get a deal done.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees the 21-year-old as key to the rebuild of his squad this summer.

Liverpool have joined the list of clubs interested in signing Mainz midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin this summer.

Reports in Germany suggest Jurgen Klopp is a fan of the 23-year-old Ivory Coast international.

Tottenham and Everton are also keen.

Arsenal are edging closer to a deal for Celtic's Kieran Tierney.

The BBC report that although an initial £15m offer was rejected by the Scottish champions there is optimism on both sides that a deal will be reached.

Personal terms aren't expected to be a problem either.

Manchester United have upped their interest in Sporting midfielder Bruno Fernandes and want him on board in time for pre-season.

The Portuguese international is set leave this summer after a record-breaking season in his homeland with some of Europe's top clubs lining up to sign him.

Tottenham, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have all been credited with interest in recent weeks.

But Record report it's United who lead the race suggesting that the 24-year-old is "most likely" to end up at Old Trafford.

Dani Alves has announced he's leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The flamboyant full back joined the French club in 2017 after spells at Sevilla, Barcelona and Juventus, but he did not say what his next move would be after leaving Paris.

"Another cycle in my life ends today, a victorious cycle, one of learning and experiences," Alves wrote on Instagram.

"I would like to thank the PSG family for the opportunity we had together to build a page in the clubâs history."

Alves, who replaced club mate Neymar as Brazil captain for the Copa America last month, won two Ligue 1 titles and one French Cup in his two seasons at Parc des Princes.

Tottenham will demand Marco Asensio in any deal that takes Christian Eriksen to Real Madrid this summer.

The Danish international wants "a new challenge" with Real one of many suitors amongst the European elite.

But Spurs aren't ready to give up one of their star assets without a fight with The Sun claiming they want Spanish international in return for Eriksen, who only has a year left on his deal in North London.

Ryan Sessegnon could leave Fulham for just £500,000 next summer.

The England U21 starlet is a long-time target for Tottenham but with only a year left on his current contract a number of foreign clubs are circling.

The Sun say Sessegnon is ready to talk to Inter Milan in January about a transfer at the end of next season where the Italians would only have to pay half a million in compensation.

Spurs remain keen this summer with the relegated Cottagers holding out for in the region of £35m.

Manchester City appear to have won the race for Harry Maguire.

Manchester United are also keen on the England international but the Mirror reports the champions are closing in on his signature.

They say United were only willing to offer £40m for the centre-back while City were happy to meet Leicester's £65m asking price.

Maguire is also keen to work under manager Pep Guardiola which is said to have swayed the deal in City's favour further.

Matthijs De Ligt long search for a new club appears to finally be coming to an end.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have all been chasing hard to secure the services of the Ajax captain this summer.

It now appears it is Juventus who have won the race for the 19-year-old with Marca reporting that Barca, who were favourites for his signature for some time, have now pulled out.

They say De Ligt is about to put pen to paper on a five-year deal that will pay him upwards of €15m a year.
