They may only be playing on muddy parks, but Belgian Sunday league team VK Linden can perhaps boast to have the smartest kits in world football.
Belgian cartoonist Jeroom Snelders designed the new kit after one of the team's coaches, Maarten De Cuyper, realised he worked in the same building as Humo magazine, where the famed cartoonist is currently employed.
A couple of emails later and the kit, which looks like something straight from a 1950s B-movie, became a reality.
Belgian newspaper Het Lastste Nieuws, who first broke the story, reported that the side were supposed to wear their new kits on Sunday - but opponents Kortenaken did not show, giving VK Linden a 5-0 win by default.
