Kevin-Prince Boateng: 'Carlos Tevez would be perfect for Milan'

Kevin-Prince Boateng has described the prospect of Carlos Tevez moving to AC Milan as "perfect".

The Rossoneri have been mooted as the destination for the Argentinian who has failed to return to Manchester City after an unauthorised trip to see family back in South America.

While City are adamant they want a direct sale, it is possible he may be wanted at the San Siro only on loan.

Boateng is clear he would welcome Tevez with open arms and he told Corrierre dello Sport: "It would be perfect for Milan.

"He is fast and can defend aggressively.

"I think that the San Siro wants a player like that. It is not for me to decide, though. "

He added: "We would still have five strikers. Among other things, anyway, Tevez could also act as a playmaker, or go to the right or left. "

Milan are second in Serie A, level on points with Udinese and two behind leaders Juventus who Boateng believes will continue to challenge.

"This year the Juventus team is very strong. I think they will be our main rival for the title.

"Juventus are a compact team, there is great chemistry between the players and departments."

The former Ghana international joined Milan from Portsmouth last year after regularly changing teams.

However, he insists he is settled at the San Siro.

He said: "Right now I'm fine and I want to stay here. I have a contract for another four years and my desire is to respect it. They are a great club and in a big city.

"Later in life you never know what can happen. "
