Radamel Falcao has no future at Manchester United, says Ray Wilkins

Radamel Falcao has no future at Manchester United, according to Ray Wilkins.

The Colombian striker, on a season-long loan from Monaco, has scored just four goals in 20 appearances for United. The club have an option to make his move permanent for £43m but it seems more unlikely with every passing game.

He was an unused substitute in United's 1-0 win at Newcastle United last night.

Wilkins, who played for United between 1979 and 1984 and is now the manager of the Jordan national team, believes that the club will "look elsewhere" in their quest for a striker this summer.

"Falcao has been struggling for goals," Wilkins told talkSPORT. "He hasn’t shown any type of form that we expected when he arrived at Manchester United.

"His form has been very poor in fact, we haven't seen anything like the player who destroyed Chelsea with Atletico Madrid a few years ago.

"They have already paid a huge loan fee and his wages are extremely expensive. To take him on would require a big fee, I would think they will look elsewhere."
