Roy Keane have named the greatest Manchester United team that he ever played alongside.

As intriguing as those included in the side are, it is perhaps those omitted who will raise more eyebrows.

Among those who miss out on the former Manchester United captain's XI are Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs. It was the latter who Keane was most dismissive of, telling ITV4 of the Welshman: "Having a great career doesn't mean you're a great player." Keane said Scholes' omission was only because he had to include himself in one of the central midfield roles.
