Thierry Henry, Arsenal’s record goalscorer and World Cup winner with France in 1998 is reportedly wanted by the BBC, Sky and BT Sport for his services as a pundit next season.

The 36-year-old’s contract with New York Red Bulls runs out after the end of the 2014 Major League Soccer season, and Henry is no surprise to cameras of course – he memorably fronted Renault Clio’s “Va Va Voom” adverts.

Henry, who scored 228 goals for the Gunners, turned his hand to punditry this week when he was part of Sky’s broadcast of Napoli against his former team Arsenal, and it seems his stint has not gone unnoticed. Henry will also be a guest on the BBC’s Match of the Day on Saturday, and has already agreed to work for the BBC for their World Cup coverage in Brazil alongside Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand.
